Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information TUYOU Marketplace, Inc. ("TUYOU", "we", "us") collects through our website and mobile apps (together, the "Platform"), how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to buyers, vendors, and visitors alike.

Account information: your name, email address, and password (or your Google account details, if you use Google Sign-In) when you register.

Vendor information: business name, categories you sell in, location, and any storefront logo, cover image, or product media you upload, if you apply to become a vendor.

Order information: shipping address and order history when you buy something. Card details are entered directly into Stripe and never reach or get stored on our servers — we only receive confirmation that a payment succeeded.

Messages & attachments: the content of conversations between buyers and vendors, including any photos, videos, or documents you choose to share.

Content you provide: reviews, your profile photo, and product listings.

Device & usage information: a guest cart identifier (if you shop without an account), and general app diagnostics collected through our error-monitoring tool, Sentry, to help us find and fix bugs.

To operate the marketplace — creating your account, processing orders, enabling buyer–vendor messaging, and showing you relevant listings.

To send you account and transactional email: order confirmations, notifications about messages or order activity, and password-reset codes sent through our email provider, Resend.

To keep the Platform safe — reviewing vendor applications, investigating reports, and preventing fraud or abuse.

To monitor and improve the app, using error-tracking data from Sentry.

With vendors and buyers, as needed to complete a transaction — e.g. a vendor sees the shipping details and messages for an order placed with them.

With service providers who process data on our behalf: Supabase (accounts, database, and file storage), Stripe (payment processing), Resend (transactional email), and Sentry (error monitoring). Each only receives what it needs to provide its service, and is bound by its own privacy and security practices.

When required by law, to protect the rights and safety of TUYOU, our users, or the public, or to investigate fraud or violations of our Terms & Conditions.

We do not sell your personal information.

We keep account, order, and message data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, accounting, or dispute-resolution needs. You can request deletion of your account as described in Section 7.

Passwords are managed by Supabase Auth and never stored by us in plain text. Card numbers are handled entirely by Stripe and never touch our servers. Our error-monitoring tool is configured to strip authorization tokens from what it collects and does not record session replays.

No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information using industry-standard practices appropriate to the data we hold.

You can review and update your account details, profile photo, and vendor storefront information at any time from Account Settings.

You can request that we delete your account and associated personal data by contacting support@tuyou.com — we'll process this unless we're required to retain certain records (e.g. completed order history) for legal reasons.

If you shop as a guest, your cart is tied to a device identifier stored locally; clearing your browser or app data removes it.

TUYOU is intended for users 18 and older and is not directed at children. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

Our service providers may process and store data in countries other than your own. By using TUYOU, you understand your information may be transferred to and processed in those locations, consistent with this Policy.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll update the date below and, where appropriate, let you know.
