Terms & Conditions

The rules for buying, selling, and using TUYOU.

Last updated: August 26, 2026

1. Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of TUYOU — our website, mobile apps, and related services (together, the "Platform") operated by TUYOU Marketplace, Inc. ("TUYOU", "we", "us").

By creating an account, browsing listings, placing an order, or applying to sell on TUYOU, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Platform.

2. What TUYOU Is

TUYOU is a marketplace that connects buyers with independent vendors selling cars, car parts, construction vehicles, and construction materials.

Vendors — not TUYOU — own, price, describe, and are responsible for the items they list. We're not a party to the sale contract between a buyer and a vendor: our role is to provide the platform, process card payments through Stripe, host buyer–vendor messaging, and review vendor applications before a storefront goes live.

3. Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or place an order. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.

You can sign up with an email and password or with Google Sign-In. Provide accurate information when you register, and keep it up to date from Account Settings.

Browsing listings and adding items to a cart doesn't require an account — a guest cart is tied to your device and merges into your account automatically the first time you sign in. Checkout, order history, wishlist, and messaging a vendor do require one.

4. Becoming a Vendor

Anyone can apply to sell on TUYOU by submitting a vendor application with your business details, the categories you plan to list in, and your location. Our team reviews every application before your storefront goes live, and we can suspend or remove a vendor storefront that violates these Terms or misrepresents what it sells.

As a vendor, you're responsible for the accuracy of your listings (condition, specifications, pricing, and photos/video), for fulfilling orders you accept, and for complying with any laws that apply to what you sell — including vehicle titling and safety regulations where applicable.

5. Orders & Payments

Prices, taxes, and any shipping or delivery fee are shown at checkout before you pay. Card payments are processed securely by Stripe — TUYOU never sees or stores your full card number. Some listings support in-person payment for local pickup, settled directly between you and the vendor.

An order is marked paid once Stripe confirms the charge (or, for in-person pickup, once payment is arranged with the vendor). If a card payment fails, you'll be notified and the order won't proceed until it's resolved.

6. Cancellations, Returns & Disputes

If your order hasn't been paid yet, contact the vendor directly through messaging to arrange a cancellation. We generally expect buyers and vendors to resolve issues — a missing item, damage, a listing that didn't match what arrived — between themselves first, using TUYOU messaging so there's a clear record of what was agreed.

If you can't reach a resolution with a vendor, contact TUYOU Support with your order number and we'll step in. Because every deal and every item is different, we don't guarantee a specific refund, return, or exchange outcome — our team evaluates disputes case by case.

7. Messaging & Conduct

Buyer–vendor messaging (including shared photos, videos, and documents) exists so conversations about a listing or order are recorded in one place. Keep deal-related communication on the Platform rather than moving it to text or email — it's the record you'll want if something needs to be resolved later.

You agree not to use TUYOU to: list stolen, counterfeit, or illegal items; misrepresent a vehicle's title, mileage, or condition; harass, threaten, or defraud another user; solicit payment outside the Platform to avoid buyer protections; post content that infringes someone else's rights; or attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the Platform.

8. Reviews & User Content

If you leave a review, it should reflect your genuine experience — we don't allow fake, incentivized, or retaliatory reviews. You keep ownership of content you post (reviews, messages, listing photos), but you grant TUYOU a license to host, display, and distribute it as part of operating the Platform.

We may remove content, reviews, or listings that violate these Terms, and may suspend accounts that repeatedly do so.

9. Intellectual Property

The TUYOU name, logo, and Platform design are owned by TUYOU Marketplace, Inc. You may not use them without our written permission. Vendors retain rights to their own listing content but grant TUYOU the license described in Section 8 to display it.

10. Third-Party Services

Parts of TUYOU are powered by third-party services — Stripe for payments, Supabase for accounts and data storage, Google for optional sign-in, and Resend for account emails like password-reset codes. Your use of those features is also subject to those providers' own terms.

11. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

Listings are provided by vendors "as is." TUYOU doesn't inspect, warrant, or guarantee the condition, safety, legality, or accuracy of any listing, and isn't responsible for a vendor's failure to fulfill an order or for the condition of an item once it changes hands.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TUYOU is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform or a transaction between you and a vendor.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, provide false information, or engage in activity that harms other users or the Platform. You can stop using TUYOU and request account deletion at any time — see our Privacy Policy for how to do that.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as TUYOU evolves. If we make a material change, we'll update the date below and, where appropriate, let you know. Continuing to use the Platform after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which TUYOU Marketplace, Inc. is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
